i curently have an xd running a 351 2v heads std rods and pistons not sure pf the cam specs with a c4 shift kitted and 2000 stall , 9 inch with std gearing it ran 13.9 at 97mph and has 235hp at treads im curently installing my brothers 302 stroker wich will hope fully get me into the 12,s laso running his locker with 4.11,s and 3800 stall do u think it,s a posabillity it was dynoed to have 332hp at wheels a week ago

yes and no.

depending on more variables, but by the sounds of things yes it is pretty obtainable.

What was the standard gearing in the 9 inch?

97mph sounds right at that HP but 13.9 indicates your getting it to the ground real well. Gearing would be high in that diff, not standard gearing.

What do you mean by 302 stroker? Tell us more about that motor. I'm curious.

how much is the 302 stroked, 40 , 60 thou ?
good gears in the diff [ 4-11s ], 3800 stall
is a little high for my liking.

really depends on the 302 and the work it has
done to it.

Then it comes down to tyres and driver.

If thats got 332rwhp? It should run a 12 without an issue. I did it with a 3500rpm stall/4.11's, 308rwhp and a busted auto.

what you refered to is boring not stroking, by boring you are looking at 6or 7 cubinc inches more in small block stroking is diffrent entirely

the 302 is stroked to 383 ci and boared 30 thou the original dif center in the falcon has never been changed so it ran 13.9 with wat ever ford ran in the falcon s

332HP at the wheels with 3800 stall, good box and locked 4.11's in an XD will get you into the 12's.

How far into the 12's is a different matter. :)

we have a member here at our last FF Heathcote drag meet he ran a ET11.86 in his XD, have a look at the results from that meeting at Vic/Tas forum...
