hi guys,i have a 351c and summer is coming so im ready to go and get a alloy rad? i have a 16'' ice fan from aussie (norm) which is 2800cfm i want to put a set of au fans on ?would the twin au fans flow better than the ice 16""?
and the alloy rads are very pricy ,ive been pricing at vpw and there is a big difference in pricing to the pwr ones and vpw ones or should i get one made up by aussie i havent got a price off norm yet? can u please help me choose thanks guys,

The twin AU's will suck your radiator off it's mounts if its not secured properly. It will out perform your 16" one by miles. What makes them so good is the giant shroud that covers the whole radiator and powerful fans that pull lots of air thru the WHOLE radiator core, not just the 16" circle covered by your current fan.

A good brass/copper radiator is OK. Lots of guys here have them. Being a new one it will work great. ie: no sludge & crap inside.

Bring on the 45*C city driving. Just make sure all your other bits are good too....high flow thermostat and good lower hose.

16s aren't worth crap by themselfs .The au set would be alot better choice and with the price of 16s plus everything else that is needed to run them .The cost of a au set is not at a bad price when compared

I will vouch for the AU fans, that work great and offer options with how you want to run them.
The cheapest place I found, and used is;

City Parts Plus (07) 38652900 Zillmere QLD.

cost was $150 for the set, 2nd hand with 12mnth warranty. they were in perfect condition and are working great...
ps. cost $25 post to nsw coast for me.

Thats a good price and two 16s will cost alot more than that

WARNING! DOnt buy second hand AU thermos. The brushes wear away to nothing. I think the set I had were from a Melbourne Taxi as they had yellow overspray on them. They still worked but there was nothein left of the brushes. They were on their last legs,

thanks i will give it go,i spoke to norm (aussie rads)

yesterday and got a qoute for a alloy rad and he said bring car in a we can work something out we can find something off the shelf and put the au fans on ,i didnt have to go alloy so that was good ,he didnt want to pinch my money and just go ahead and build a alloy rad so that is a gentlemen
