I just recently purchased a '73 mach 1 w/ a 351 cleveland CJ. I am putting a new Holley 4 barrel street avenger carb w/ an electric choke, also put a new edlebrock intake manifold, when bolted the carb to the manifold the throttle mechanism is hitting the top of the manifold, so i ordered a spacer, w/ the spacer on it, will i have to modify the hood or will it fit? also any suggestions on whether i'm going with the right set up? i would appreciate anyones suggestions as this is my first rebuild.
