28 spline borg warner + clevo?

hey, i got my hands on a 28 spline 4 pinion limo borg warner.
has anyone had experience with these diffs?
will it handel an xd, 3.9's 351 with 234/244 cam xcellerator and 750dp?
c4 will have 3000 stallie...
i know its impossible to say but has any one had good results wiv these diffs?
tyres won't be too wide around 235's?

I've had friends try and destroy them, but they keep coming back for more!

Your 235's will allow the car to break traction before overstressing that part of your driveline......and the 3000 stally shock it too hard

Slicks and a 5000 stally, then I'd be a little suspect.

you shouldn't hurt it with that setup.

Been using the same set-up for years. Other than being prone to excessive back lash, they are a great diff much more robust than people think.

there pretty much the same as a vl turbo diff and there is some quick cars using them axles are same size as 9" 28 spline axles

As above. I had one for 5 years behind my clevo with C4 and toploader for
a while too. Right at the end, i did break the teeth off the pinion gear, but
it was a very good diff, especially if you have an auto behind it.

I have gone through 2 since the start of the year..
Both were just standard diffs. one open wheel and one lsd. They seem to last well if you don't do too many burn outs.. though it was high speed corning&acel which killed mine i reacon as I held back on the burnouts all together so far...
last one was the lsd, following my brother on his bike through some mountain roads then a tight u-turn and the gear completely chewed out :(

You can't compare the 4 pinion version to the standard version. Like chalk and cheese...

I'll put a vote in for the 4-Pinion 28 Spliner BW.

Bloody good diff. Cheap too if you shop/look around.

Have had mine in for about 4 years now. Since changing the ratio I've done a fair few HARD launches and it loves it.

Also have 2 mates, both with VLT's (same centre), one runs 10.1 @ 132mph, the other 10.4 @ 130mph, both in calais streeter shells, both with transbrake's, both still going strong......
