2V hi rise Torque Power dyno results

hey guys
got my car up to redcliffe dyno this weekend. I got them to put the intake on there and tune the new carb.
They had a run untouched with the redline street torker and bg speed demon 650dp with just mixture tune, no jets or anything tuned. Then intalled the tp and tuned the bg and recurved the dissy.

The mech fuel pump now has no chance though, it went lean if it was hit too hard down low and could only handle power to 4,500rpm then the AF ratio started to go bad :(
Have to say, for the limited rpm runs though, i am still very happy with the intake and bg combo.. I will get a holley blue pump and 3/8 line as soon as the bank allows.

Yeah mate, give that sucker a drink! Nice improvement though, almost 40hp with even more to come. What was the AFR getting to?

If you're going to fit a whole new fuel line, I'd just go 1/2".

Nice. The torque power matches well with your combo. Now I can say I've seen a car thats actually picked up power with one. Can you repost your combo?? I want to show my dyno tuner some details. That way he'll know the type of combo's to set up for the torque power manifold.

Pracy, good work....I bet you can't get that smile off your face now.

You got 309RWHP on your last time out and before the changes this time you got 288 RWHP.... so what do you reckon, do you think you've picked up 11RWHP or closer to 30RWHP....How does the car feel now ? or is the change to small to notice...anyway you see it 320RWHP is a great result.

Can you provide the details on the re-curve and timing, etc. thanks

Re: 2V hi rise Torque Power dyno results

not sure what the AF ratio was as I couldn't see the screen from the front position. They were just letting me know when it was going lean etc..

As for the line, he was saying only fit 1/2 line if i am thinking of running 2 holley blues or something bigger single unit. for now 3/8 will be suited to 1 blue.
hows that sound?

XB351coupe, I reacon there is a big change, you can feel alot more pickup and power comes in so much harder! as for what the settings ended up on, I didnt take much notice as I knew it was going to change again soon..
I have made 309 then 303, these were both with a shitty holley hume carb.
The first run at redcliffe was with the new untuned BG, so the 289HP first run it made I think could be somewhere around the 303HP mark as the other dyno dynamics run i had in coffs harbour. Steve from rdp was saying with the new fuel pump, getting into the higher 5800-6000rpms should see another 25+HP at the wheels...
so the manifold, carb and curve has gotten me 33hp plus hopefully 25 more to come...

Very nice results for whats done. It sounds like that manifold is working like the Bennett boys said it would.
What times do you think it will run over the 1/4?

With the 2.93's..........about 14 sec!! and one big burnout in first gear

Stick some low gears in her and you'll need a neck brace.
