so, with a little bit of basic maths we can work out the CID of any engine with 3 pieces of information
1. Bore diameter, radius = bore/2 pi= 3.141592654 approx
2. Stroke
3. Number of cylinders
CID= number of cylinders x [( radius of cylinder*2 x pi ) x engine stroke]
example.
8 cylinders x [ 2inch radius squared x 3.141592654] x 3.5 inch stroke
8 x 12.55 x 3.5
=351 CID
