I thought you guys might be interested in this: I just installed a gem reconditioned 351 in my XF, and when I got the emissions test done for the engineering certificate the motor not only passed ADR37 for the XF, but also exceeded the requirements of ADR37A, the engineer told me that would allow the motor to be fitted up to an ED falcon.

That's with thermoquad and extractors and stock electronic dizzie.

What do the RTA (whatever in your state) say about this? They are the ones who will have the final say.

There is a Yellow EB with a blown 351C getting around the local area and to meet emissions they had the run the car on LPG.

In south oz you must run gas on XF's onwards if ya wanna drop in a clevo.

as in Vic it was the reason i canned the clevo into XF project myself

This is the ACT, where rego requires the car to pass the engineers inspection, including the emissions test for ADR compliance.

The engineer was surprised how clean the motor was, but bear in mind it is newly rebuilt with maybe 60km all up.
