Just thought I'd write up a post as I've finally scraped up some dollars, and this time next week I'll be preparing to run the Falcon on the rollers with the NEW Nitrous setup.
I've had gains for each time I've been on the dyno and hopefully this dyno trip will see me well and truely past the 300rwkw magical figure I was kind of aiming for.
Std 351 crank and rods, balanced, .040" hypers, crow cam, mild cnc'd cc heads, bolt-on rollers, no-name tri-y's, redline street torker, 750DP, std dizzy regraphed, through a toploader and 4-pinion LSD.
NOS Super Powershot Wet Plate type Nitrous system.
Last trip saw 250rwkw and so with 100HP jets should hopefully see me over the 300 line.
I've been waiting so long as I've had to save for a fair few extra insurance policy items, eg. extra fuel pump and lines, safety cutout switches, warning lights, etc.
Anyways I just thought I'd share my joys with you as I've been looking forward to this for ages now, and for an outlay of under $1000 the benefits are un-matchable if everything is done right and not abused.
And for a job were I've fitted everything myself and built the engine myself, I'm starting to feel alright. BUDGET based :)
I can't wait!!

Those tri y,s are probably going to hold a lot of power up,especially in a nitrous combo. If you can squeeze the fuel in you have to have an exhaust system capable of expelling spent gasses efficiently otherwise your combo will suffer to some extent.
TTNO did you give the top ring a little more clearance for nitrous use?<or was this not a factor when you had the engine built. What are you using for a timing retard?
ISP = whomever you connect to for net access. Their webpage will tell you where you can host your own page/files. In my case iprimus gives me http://home.iprimus.com.au/bwill (bwill being my user name).
Good stuff I have Monday arvo off and Tuesday I am at work but still can pop in during work. As thats were I usually drop into on my days @ work anyway
You beauty! I'm staying tuned to this channel! Hope it blows your rocks off.
Once you've sorted out how to down load pictures to your own web page, simply paste the web address link somthing like this.........

This technique shows the pictures in real size.
Or you can post a "thumb-nail" which doesn't require a personal website/space. Using the "go advanced" button at the bottom and then use the "manage attachments" function. You'll need a picture editor though to shrink your images to less that 1000 pixles wide ri they aren't already. A box will pop up, click on "browse" and just go to where the picture file is saved on your computer then hit upload. This option looks like this..........
