I was thinkin buildin a new motor an get rid of me 302.
351 crank with 302 rods
ACL Duralite race series pistons
2v closed heads
one piece single grove 4v valves
hardened retainers an locks
20 thou bore
oil restrictor kit with high vol pump,
high energy sum, chamfered oil holes
edelbrock performer topped with a 650 dp
mallory twin point dist
cam with good torque between 2500 - 6000
id rather not take the engine past 6000 for reliablility reasons, dunno how the bottom end would hold for a 25 lap race.
any suggested changes or probs with set up, i was hopin bout 380-400hp with the setup any input would be great. compression should be about 10.5 and i plan to run 50 50 mix of avgas premium.
