Hey guys,

What sort of HP do the 351's put out. I'm planning on restoring an old engine and I would like to know. Thanks for any help.

standard the 2v 351s put out 250 HP, 4V ( large port ) put out 300 Hp
The 4V ( small port ) smog motors put out less but I can't remember exactly what at the moment.

It really depend's on what yr/vehicle 351 you are questioning.

I belive it is from the XY GT.

xy-xa(i think xb as well) 351s put out a factory quoted 195kw
xy-xb gt 351s put out factory quoted 224kw

xc put out a lot less coz of pollution gear and poss diff carb/cam combo. i think it may have been 160kw.

not to mention going from Gross to Net measurements !
