Hey guy's,
Need some help trying to identify a pair of clevo heads I have. The only numbers on the heads are: AR D0AE 6049-A and they are located under the inlet port, (sorry there is also 28C4 and thats near the valve spring, but from what I have already found on the web, this is the date it was made).
Any help would be great!

What are you trying to identify them as?

2V or 4V?...

4V have much better exhaust ports and should have the number "4" stamped on the front/top of the heads which is visible with valve covers still on.

2V have small exhaust ports but allow alot more airspeed which helps with daily driving.

4V are for racing applications mostly, but (like I had) can be used as a daily driver also, but more costly in fuel. Gotta love the power tho when the DP opens up!..

That part no breaks down as -

AR - Australian Requirements
D - 70's
0 - year 0 ie its 1970
A - A part used over many product lines ie Falcon, Fairlane
E - Engine design office
6049 - Engine part number for a head
A - I believe relates to a part revision and/or designates LH/RH parts
