351c oiling question.....
I'm doing ALL the oiling mods on my 380 inch stroker cleveland....restrictors,oil line front to back, drain back hole mods, Bushed lifter bores etc.......looking at the main feed hole on #1 main web got me thinking(which is dangerous) why the hell is this hole so danged big? Seems like a HUGE bleed off point...has anyone tried restricting this down to the same size as ALL the rest of the main feed holes?
This is a roller cam, aluminum rod, splayed cap engine and will be turning 8000+ I've built several of these with all the oiling mods and never gave the front main oil hole much thought......Any answers?
By the way i've got cleveland "MAIN Girdles" for sale..........
