423

hey guys got the opportunity to get a cheap 423.
never heard of them before. what did they come out of, i think they may be from a mustang origin but can anyone tell me otherwise.
also what are they like, power/money spend wise can they handle a beating.

I,ve never heard of a 423. Can you elaborate?

ive never heard of a 423 either.
one of the old mans mates has one that he wants to get rid of for next to nothing.
"maybe they are worth nothing". im not sure where the motor comes from, mustang? chev truck? no idea. just curious where/what it could have come out of so i can do some research into engine exchange. you end up getting rid of the XY. good to see the progress of the XR its looking sweet

i'm guessing it is a 428? FE motor?

do you have pics??

ford 79 f150 4wd, lifted 6", 15 x 10 alloys,38.5 x 14.5 swampers, 400ci supercharged, c6, np205, 9" and dana 44, side pipes, big stereo, step side body

425, 427, 428 etc. etc. Plenty of real motors in the 420's - and one not real one (the 423.) I've honestly never heard of it.
