I know how to tell 4v heads untill i pulled my motor and notice a 4 below were it should of been then i found this information.
(The main difference in the two 4V head options, one was open chambered and the other was quenched or closed chambered and was identifiable by the #4 in the upper and lower corners of the head.)
my heads have the 4 in a lower corner a bit hard to see in the car does anyone know what these are after reading this information i got from
usa ebay
i dont know what the #4 is for so sorry i cant help you
but my old 302 had a 3 in the bottom right corner of the head next to exh port No 1 & 8. the heads were 2v close chamber.
so i keep wondering does this mean
hi there the 3 cast on your heads i think are to with being made in australia
these are really good heads they are from a 302 and are of course 2v heads
thanks any way
yeah of course, thats right. i only jus removed the heads on thursday night and it didnt even click to think it was the aussie heads
i think i was jus blown away with the state of them, burnt & cracked valves, and lots of burnt oil.
