adapter plate for a 302clevo to a 89' maverick auto

Hi,

I am trying to find out some info on a adapter plate, as i would like to put a 302 clevo in my 89' maverick 4wd.

Try Mark's 4WD Adaptors, they make adaptors for heaps of things.

quikcorty :- i have gone for a 302 due to i was given one for next to nothing.. thats one of the reasons the other is i did not want to have to modify things too much.

i also have a gq auto, and find the auto is very slushy. they are bad for towing , and for power increases. you will need the convertor modified, as it will now be a high stall. there is a company in bayswater called "wholesale auto transmisions" , guy called rodney. they have a new valvebody, which makes it shift nice, (not harsh or marshmallowy). they also have a convertor lock up kit, which lets you overide the lock up, and lock it up manually, for towing or 4 wheelin. they also may be able to help with a conversion kit.
