on a hydralic cam there is no real gain to be had (unless your deck and heads have had heaps taken od them) in which case it allows to make up for the incoreect pushrod length you may now have ( could be using .030 under size which means adjustment is needed) and the noise is becuse they are set too loose on a hydralic cam you should have zero lash.

Yep thanks, That makes sense. It has had the block decked but I dont know by how much. The adjustable rockers allow you to run any old pushrods do they? I have a set of Crow Moly ones that cost $250 so he could have got the right ones and reckons he did.

well they allow you to compensate for pushrods that are too short as can happen becuase when you take enough of the heads and block you should run a shorter pushrod, but if it is a little too short you get too much lash so this allows yo to set it back at zero like the hydralics are supposed to be.

The street terra rollers are the cheapest in the range the yella terra are mids and then patinums top of the line
