the block is a 1971 351 4v 2 bolt mains...
the codes that i have ,don't have those numbers for the crank...

D= 1970 decade
2= 72

Its a 1971 GT Falcon engine number stamped on a 1972 to mid 70's block with an australian late model crank. Looks like a re-stamped "bitza" to me.

Possibly a warranty block then?

Doesnt matter I missed out on it - auction ended while I was at work - didnt reach reserve and then was offered to bidders @ $300, was snapped up by another bidder 10 minutes after offer was made........
