Is anyone running Flowtech warlock mufflers on their cleveland .
I have just recieved my mufflers and was wondering what they are like .
If you haven't heard of them they are a tripple pass muffler with a straight though option so they don't go though the muffler at all .

Hello Tony.
I have heard of the Warlock Mufflers but don't know of anyone running them. Where did you get them from? I am interested to know how they sound and how effective they are 'unplugged'.

Why would anyone want to bypass their muffler

I got them from jegs in america cost me 80-90aus dallor each .
I won't be putting them on for another 6 weeks as I am waiting on the rear suspension to arrive .I will post the results then .

As for bypassing the muffler I want to do this for a couple of reasons .
1 the muffler is a triple pass to run quieter on the street (more restictive)
2 More flow when bypassed for better strip performance .
3 I have electric openers going on them so at the flick of a switch in the car I can go from muffler (quiet)to straight though(nasty).This 3rd option is for shock and showing off value .
My car is going to be set up as a street racer at the strip drive there and drag without getting out of the car .
I like this way of racing it gives you the feeling of street racing with out the probs of doing it on the street .
I hope that WA brings in this style of racing soon

I like the idea of the switch. I've flanged my whole system now. I can remove the centre section and tailpipes. I'm looking at rigging up some kind of way that allows me to keep the tailpipes mounted. Bolting them in is a 2 person affair. Problem is most of the time I'm by myself.

I'd never heard my car with the pipes off till this year. It's quite addictive. The sound that is.

Can you take some pic's of the work?

I havn't started putting the exhurst together yet as I have to wait for the rrs rear suspension to get here and be fitted first then I can do it .
Here are some pics of the muffler the electric exhurst cut outs and the muffler with the turndown on it .
The end product will have the cutout between the muffler and the turn down

Yeah thats the expensive part the set cost me around 400 aus dallor .
Still that is cheaper than the ones I have seen here in aussie.
This is the price you pay for getting something that you want but don't need
