Barry Grant carbs

Does anyone have any advice on BG Demon carbs, and what would be a good choice for a mild (fitted with a non-stock cam) 351, backed by a TopLoader ?

Size ? Secondary actuation ? Choke (yes/no) ? Model number ?

I know several folk here in the U.K. who have fitted them to big blocks, butwas keen to get an idea on what is best for an Aus Cleveland in an Aus Falcon (XA).

For something mild, i would go a 650 speed demon. For something a bit wilder maybe a 650 or 750 mighty demon, depending on you camshaft/combo.

go the 750 dont buy to small and waste money, are the heads 2V australian or american or are they 4v's?

Don't have any advice on the BG carbs... but i can make another recommendation:

Proform race series 750 ($499US)

With your exchange rates you could pick one up for next to nothing!
