is a cleveland c4 flex plate the same a as c6 flexplate

I would say it is, but only if it's a smallblock C6, anyone know for sure ?

I think you might find the c6 has more teeth than the c4 but dont quote me on it, a freind has a windsor in a xp coupe and chewed out 4 starters due to the wrong flex plate.

On Mustangs the C4 & FMX flexplate has 157 teeth & the C6 has 164, the only difference in starters are for Manual or Auto application, guess the difference in diameter is taken out by mounting the starter further out on the C6 bellhousing?
