Re: can i put a 351 clevo in a eb
I have seen one done, heard of quite a few. I remember the only dramas encountered for rego were emissions. I am unsure of what pipework was carried out nor who by. But was amazed to see engineers reports for the vehicle. Some one surely would be able to bend a nice set of pipes to eliminate fouling/clearance problems. Best thing would be contact your local motor registry to find out the finer details, brakes may need an upgrade? Fuel would be the only other issue, having such stringent pollution laws requiring all sorts of emission control equipment. I beleive it would be alot easier to rego on LPG. Overall it shouldnt be too hard, though like you said you know a windsor fits. With some later models having roller cams and such as standard, it may be a better/cheaper option to source a late model windsor or front cut with box and loom etc.
