Can you get sump off clevo in XD engine bay??

as per title, can it be done??
am assuming i would need to jack the engine up an inch or 2 and put blocks of wood in between the engine mounts like you do with an XC...

need 100% confirmation that it can be done in XD though, without removing the motor...

thanks

Yes, same as XC. The bays are identical.

Thanks for the quick reply, i'm happy now :D means i can get my spare sump welded drilled tapped for my oil return for the blower without too much stuffing around.

yeah but when you dont have an engine crane, or a place in your garage to attach an endless chain to, its a bit hard to just decide,
"Hey i am going to pull the motor out to change the sump"
if there is an oil leak, i am sure i can top it up, :) but i am pretty confident it will seal just fine

I normally remove the mount bolts, jack up the engine, put the bolts back in the engine mounts and let the engine back down. The bolts now sit up on top of the lower "saddles", giving you enough room. No need to find bits of wood, and they won't slide out.....
