In continuing with our motto, Excellence through Automotive Innovation Not Immitation, CHI, in a worlds first, has decided to release its now popular 3V cylinder head in Cast Iron. Designed to meet the needs of racers participating in classes, where aluminum cylinder heads are not allowed, the all new cast iron 3V 218cc comes with all the same innovative features of our popular aluminum version.

As these heads are class specific, CHI will be producing these heads on a limited basis only, subject to individual customer requirements. To place an order or for further information, please donít hesitate to email

If I remember correctly? They were slightly dearer than the alloys due to the manufacturing costs being dearer than the alloys.

You'll find that'd be bare as John doesn't put complete prices on the website. Due to people wanting different configurations.

The alloy's are cheaper to manufacture hence $2550 bare.

But will it all line up or will modifing the dizzy manifold and all the parts that dont work the alloys.

why would you bother with iron heads of they are dearer, heavier and don't take as much compression??
