G'day all, I,m a new member was wondering if anyone has heard of a bad batch of solid lifters 4 clevelands getting around?

I heard that it was 10 months ago or more. I did have a new Crane solid cam and eaton lifters wipe all 16 lobes about 3 months ago after 200km. I still dont know if it was cam or lifter related. I used another new Crane cam, and Crower lifter this time, with no problems.

I was having trouble with lifters last year, ended up honing every lifter bore so the lifter moves freely , then ran cam in with only single valve springs, it did the trick.

Thank-u 4 reply people. Trying to get custom cam ground, the cam grider has refused us & said only when we get a set of lifters from the new batch as they're not crap.
