Trying to buy new rod bearing but the new ones do not have the indention where the bearings met once the rod cap is installed and of course the new bearings don't. Before I get a million questions, the connecting rod and cap have a small channel that lets oil squirt onto the connecting rod and cylinder across for it. I know sometimes manufactures omit some detail because they are not needed. I just don't know if this is one of those time. Anyone have any ideas?

G'day mate, I had an old 351 with the same squirt holes. I just bought a normal set of bearings and notched them where the factory ones were.. Worked fine. I don't think they are all that needed though IMO.
