Re: clevo 6" rods

forget about using 6 inch rods unless you are building a stroker.Standard stroke 351engines do well with the standard rod length. What works in a Chev won,t necessarily cross over into other engines.

Or you can use 302 clevo rods that are 6.028 and get pistons off the shelf.

Which will result in zero deck height so be mindful of your compression result depending on your heads - as in open or closed chamber etc

Re: clevo 6" rods

Yeah the Chevy rods would only be used for a stroker, and you would actually use 5.7 inch ones in that case as I think with an offset ground crank and 6inches they would be too long for any piston out there.

Research past threads for some of the combos' out there.

Re: clevo 6" rods

there is a few different stroker combinations
6" , 6.2" , strokes of 3.75 , 3.85 and others i guess
pavteck@iprimus , proheads , alburyspeed -
scat kits $3000
cubic inches is the pro , cost the con

6 inch clevo rods with acl pistons for them and open chambers give a rise in comp , obviously closed give you more - maybe clearance issue - never looked into it
