Well after some time and some money everything went back together and headed down to mk auto and put the old girl back on the rollers heres the results:

Looks like it suffers at the top a little, were gonna move up to a 3" pipe and see how that changes things, but other than that anyone able to read further into that graph? It was run on 14" tyres and top gear with 4:11 diff

Thats a good start

186rwKw = 250rwhp. Exact same as my first dyno!

The right scale is Tractive Effort and when compared with diff and tyre size gives rear wheel torque.

So 6130 N (Newtons) = 462Nm (Newton Metres) rear wheel torque. Which is 340 ft/lbs (foot pounds)

Yes, both the torque and hp curves take a little dip. Can you just remind us again of your combo & cam size? And what rpm were you red-lining at......5700?

Could be a number of reasons.......

Valve springs
Restricitve exhaust
Air Fuel Ratio (Do you know what it was? The dyno guy will have it saved on his computer)
Stock heads (should see a bit more)

With good traction your XE should do a mid to low 13 quarter.

looks to me that tractive efforts roughly 5200n not 6130n. the one around 6000rpm is kw.

Looks about right for a mild combo with an auto and stock heads....basically the same readout as my result....what are your spec's ??

I said roughly 6000rpm. I used my intelligence and looked @ kph. Poster said they have 4.11's. I've seen enough dyno's with a 1:1 ratio with 4.11 to know what sort of rpm an engine is pulling when I see the sheet.

Heres the cam specs

The heads are 2v cc heads with 4v inlets and everythings been opened up a little. Its not a auto its a toploader. As for red line, im not sure really, I normally find its not benificial to push past 5500, but maybe the dyno sheet says otherwise ?
