finished moving and got a bit more time so i am going to play with the clevo a bit more!
current setup;
-302cc heads std valves, hardened exhaust seat and 5degree cut
-1.73 bolts yt's
-crow K2102 valve train. (single w/damp springs, anti-pumps etcs)
-351 balanced rotating assem
-crank 10/10 and check over real good, nothing more.
-rods closed and honed, straightness checked, nothing more.
-only standard clevo bolts through-out. had two sets to use so they are all in good nick.
-acl hyp with reasonable dish, not sure what cc. 10.0:1
-holley 650 DP
-MSD ready to run dissy and coil
-shitty redline torqer port mis-matched, mentioned before..
-pacemaker 4-1 1 7/8 prim.
-manul 4sp, 2.93 planning 3.5 diff.
-heavy XE falcon, no ac.
What I am looking at is not too much more $$ as i have spent enough so far :p
tomorrow i will order a MSD 6AL from vpw@ $435
-will i need a tach adapter for this unit, or this one has a tach output?autometer gauge.
-Heads are off to wes engines, in lismore, for some work. short turn, slight bowl job and angle job on intake.
- new ferrea 5000 2.070 intake and maybe 1.710 exhuast, and comments on using 4v exhaust here?
- go to double springs and new value train, new collets,seals,pushrods etc. crow K2104 specs.
- new crow cam, i cant re-use lifters i am sure?
either
crow 211367, 226 232 DUR, .530" and .548" or
crow 21649, 234 244 DUR, .525" and .525"
or even
21700 242 250 DUR. .570" and .570"
-does going to a larger exhaust valve size mean having to get a new hardened seat put in to the new dia?
lastly new intake, have been waiting to see a clev edelbrock air-gap but still havn't, with either be one of those matched, weiland or if $$ permits TQ Power.
I am looking at not changing from the 650DP so I dont want the cam to be too big..?
all this stuff will be hopefully in the next 3 weeks time permitting, after that electric fuel pump etc.
