gday all i have any ealy syle ea alternator and i am looking at putting on my xr falcon with clevo, is this a straight swap or does it need wiring and or bracket modifications. any help would be fantasic as i am in a real spot and need t get it sorted out by tomorrow.

hahah nah it didn't
completely diff alternators,
i had a 65amp v8 alt so i just got that recoed
as far as im aware the ea needs a diff reg on the back to be compatible
best off going a mitsubishi alt if your gonna go to the trouble.

I have a BOSCH 85A universal (BXU85A) which is the same as on my Dad's 4 cylinder Magna. Bolted up to Cleveland OK with supplied spacer. Just had to grind upper bracket a little and run a shorter belt. A plug had to be soldered onto the wiring harness as well. Leave the spacer off and it fits a Holden (I think) that's why they call it universal.
