edelbrock cleveland heads

I went to the street nationals in Orlando this past weekend.
i checked out the edelbrock stand ,(along with the bikini girls that were selling parts for..some company)
but anyway i had a very good look at their new aluminum cleveland heads
they are closed chambers and the intake port is very straight and the size of a standard 2v intake port.
the exhaust are also very straight and look like they flow very well, but the ports are smaller than a standard 2v exhaust port. they still seam like they would flow well.
has anyone messed with these yet? or does anyone else have any comments on these. they jsut look like a street head to me, not somthing to use in competition. any ideas?

Re: edelbrock cleveland heads

Its not the size that matters.

Have you checked out the pics of the high port heads? It shows how dead and inefficient the 4V ports are.

Re: edelbrock cleveland heads

Up where i live a guy has brought a set of the new head's and i hope to find out how they perform on the street and strip, he has a Mustang and the engine had heavily modded 2v's and the company who will put the head's on have dynoed the engine before with old head's so will be interesting to see.
