I have a ZJ fairlane which I am in the process of restoring/cleaning up. I am wanting to make more econimical to drive. I am concidering an EFI conversion of my 351c (first the engine needs a recon) or finding a wrecked late 90's fairlane and transplanting the whole engine into my ZJ, which would give the advantages of an alloy engine which has the EFI system designed for it, unleaded petrol, modern aircon system etc. My question is has anyone out there done either of these . Would it be a relatively simple to transplant a late 90's 5l into a ZJ?
