Re: Engine number

slightly off topic -

anyone know where you can get industrial-type bellhousings/adaptors for Clevo's (or windsors, or 308's or whatever)?? Years back a bloke i know had a pump (for filling irrigation tanks from a river) powered by a 253 Holden V8... was awesome.

Presenting, at great cost to management:
.020 over 351 Clevo, 10:1 comp, ported 302 heads, blueprinted and balanced, custom ground cam, Edelbrock intake, 600 Holley, K&N air filter, Custom Zip-Ties(tm), MSD ignition, Genie extractors, 2 x 2.5" exhaust, 2800rpm stally, rooted C4

Re: Engine number

I've seen a heap of Ford V8s on industrial generators, usually running on natural gas, but never taken any notice of the engine numbers. Maybe next time.
