Sounds like a US mustang carb of a 428 CJ motor, built 4th week of aug, 1968?

Aussie Holleys are;

3795-1 C8OF-9510-C 5482/4841 Windsor HO & early 351C 1.5 with auto choke

4511 C9ZF-9510-J (6211/6213 Phase 2)

4653 D0ZF-9510-Z 6396/6213 is phase 3 & RPO 83 date coded 1970 as it was a service replacement part for many years after..

Re: factory cleve holleys

Bugger oh well not to worry then!

I should have taken a bit more notice before my guessing a ph2/3/4/rpo type carb as its got the ford auto kickdown setup on it!

Re: factory cleve holleys

I've got the same Holley 735 carb on my Pantera! Runs great, with reasonable gas mileage! I think its a pretty good all around carb.
