i was going to put a 650dp holley on my close to being built 351c, but saw a wolf 2d advertised, and bought it. i thought i could knock up a throttlebody setup cheaply, so i went ahead. Everyone telling me that mpi is best and i got the picture.
My setup that i had planned involved a custom 4barrel throttle body with 4 injectors hovering above the tops of the barrels.
Now ill be using twin xf or similar throttle bodies on a custom plenum attached to the single plane manifold.
Next week ill be bringing my manifold into work to drill the injector bosses, and mount fuel rails hopefully!
hopefully the sale of my holley can fund some 450+hp capable injectors.
and i hope i can still do it all for the price of a good carby!

Good work! I hope it goes well. I wish i was talented enough to make an EFI manifold.
I got quotes on an MPI setup from speed technology. I can post the figures if you are interested. The whole lot costs about $3000, The most expensive item being the injectors themselves at around $1200.

If i had a lot of cash EFI would be on my list.

DansEdgli if you look around you can do injectors for any realistic hp you want for $600 or less.

Yeh please keep us posted up to date with how you go.

Have been wanting to do the same for a long time, while retaining my existing single plane redline manifold.

Injectors are everywhere, just keep looking. :)

just picked up 2 au throttle bodies today, should get started making a plenum for them this week. im making it face towards the drivers side of the car, i couldnt fit any pipes down the front with my dizzy.

If you want Throttle body injection with four barrels on a stardard manifold have a look at the following link. Two EA CPI TBs on a 429. You get injectors and regulators all on the TBs
