Its been 10 WEEKS since i said the car was going to the dyno shop and i can FINALLY give you some numbers.
Lots of little problems like dead MSD unit, broken starter motor, electronic pickup in dizzy playing up and one set of spark plugs cooked as well.
610ft/lb torque at 4200rpm, 13lb boost
approx 420 rwhp at 4900rpm, 13lb boost
We can't get a more accurate HP reading higher up because we are getting belt slip above 5000rpm and loss of boost pressure (drops to 6psi). Going to put on a tensioner to get more wrap around on the blower pulley and then see how we go.
Hopefully there's another 100 or so HP in it from 5000 to 7000, given its got a fair bit of cam left in it.
Just glad to see it's coming together at last! Will post a sheet or Video as soon as i can
You'll be surprised how much power it picks up when the belt slip stops. With some extra rpm, I still reckon you'll go around 440rwkw. Your already @ 300+rwkw
An engine on wheels Now that'd be an awesome ride. What body is going on top?
I got a watch for christmas. I thought it was a thoughtless present as I haven't worn a watch in over 8 years. Now I have to wear it and hope not to smash it on the car. My most useful present was a wallet.

Brenx, fibreglass body is going to be glued and screwed to it later this week in prep for paint job over New years/Jan, its a copy of a 427SC

I just watched Speedweek on the weekend. They had a Cobra destroying anything on the track (circuit racing)! It was truly awesome to watch. It would pass the 911 turbos like they were standing still :hehe:

I saw that one too. He stated at the back of the field, and passed like 9 cars by the first corner. hahah. Sounded awsome.
