Hello all, newbie at this & could do with some advice.
Just had a new catalytic converter fitted and it smells(not rotten eggs).
Garage says this is normal and it needs a day or two to settle in.
Also the interior heater seems to be working far hotter. Are there some added benefits to having this new 'cat' fitted.
I'm totally not a mechanic and would welcome advice.
