The easy way to do it is get a length of thread rod (no more than about $5 for about 3 feet) and some matching chrome capped nuts. Just screw thread rod in, cut to length and screw caps on with washers.

The two long ones in mine are 4.5" and the rest are 1". Maybe the 1" ones are 3/4"? Mine are allen key headed.
