On the barry grant web site and other such as vpw they refer to the sizes
-6, -8 & -10 for the braided fuel lines and fittings. What are these sizes in metric or inches? What size would i be looking at for a 450-480hp clevo and what pump and setup would be recommended. Its all a sore point a the moment as the lines are standard from tank to holley pump then 3/8 to 750dp. Any recomendations or help on these -6, -8, -10 sizes would be much appreciated.

Somewhere between 3/8 and 1/2" would suit.

It is in reference to hose sizes & fittings.

To work it out, 1" = 16

So 8 = 1/2" and so on.
