does anyone know what a linkage bushing bearing is for a ford tempo 1992?? I have looked all over the internet and cant find one. The mechanic said that the reason the car is taking forever to go to the next gear on my automatic is because the linkage bearing bushing is destroyed and i need to replace the bushings, but I cant find it....

That is going to be a dealer item only. Hopefully they can get just the part you need and you dont end up having to buy half a transmission or something. Check with a Ford dealer in person, much easier than trying to explain it over the phone. Plus they will have pictures.
