Ok guys,

I know this typically would be a "WTB/For sale section thing" but i've tried that already and i thought there may be some clevo guys in this section that may know of something or have one laying around.

basically i need a 4MAB crank thats in great condition, and it's the only thing thats holding me back from assembling my motor! (ark)

I'll ask around, but it took a while to find one for myself, and i don't really want to sell my spare either. I will keep my ears open for ya.

i may be wrong but i was lead to belive that there is little difference between the 4MA & the 4MAB

from what i've found out the 4MA and 4MAB have very little difference.

from what i've also found is that the Australian clevo crank is also very strong and i may be able to get away with it for my application.

i'm trying to find out info on the crank that came out of my XD (which also came out of a black XE block) which is marked ARD1AE (which i believe indicates that it's Australian) and 6303-B

seems to be quite a beefy/heavy crank

any ideas?

It isn't std/std, but is in good nick.

thanks for that... i've been told i have a 4MA already, plus the shipping would probably exceed that of the price for the crank.

howdy. ARD1 aussie cranks and 4MA yank crank pretty much same strength. both tough as an ox and well prepped are fine. 4MAB crank has high nodular iron content and is a bit stronger than the others. BOSS and GTHO 4MAB cranks were rockwell hardness tested from factory. basically, unless uoy want to buy a steel crank, any well prepped clevo crank is fine. cheers.

thanks mate, i've found my crank is a ARD1AE 6303-B crank... my engine builder keeps assuring me it's suitable for my application.
