I know there are a Few thread's with this Topic. I couldn't make head nor Tail, from the Fomoco Eng no casting Pic A L J J U A*****K It also has a F stamped on the small square that's been ground smooth. Suppose it would help to say it's a 351 clevo in a Xc Coupe

Are you sure it's not A L 1 J .....
If so, it is usuall out of an f serires truck. My block has this and
is apparently from an F100 ambulance(and is a pillow block )

Thank's xdclevo, I'm pretty sure it was A L J J U A. I washed it down plus used a scourer on it also had a look with a 500 Watt Floodlight. I better have another look with my spec's on. I also own a old 79xd with a 302 clevo in it I had them sitting side by side yesterday the casting no's on the 351 are up near the Dizzy compared to the 302 down on the side on a smooth part of the Block Cheer's

Got the Spec's and the Mag glass out and yes ur right xdclevo. It should read A L 1 J U A*****K . The no 1 was badly stamped at a Angle making it look like a J into the Casting. So do I take it that the F stamped on the milled square stand's for a F series motor aka F100 Cheer's
