Help Needed...Urgently - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

Hey Everyone

Finally finished the conversion on me car and actually got it started for the first time last night.

The car ran with no issues what so ever for about 10 minutes before we decided to switch it off and keep working on the interior fitment.

The problem is now it won't start again.

We have not changed anything since we first got it too run, but now there is no spark at the coil and although it cranks, it just won't fire.

If anyone has seen anything along these lines before and can help your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

This is urgent as the car needs to be running tomorrow morning by 9am at the latest.

Is there injector pulse??
Spark at a spark plug?
New leads?

You're cutting it very thin, the show starts tomorrow night!

It's a 302W EFI

Assuming 351C, no spark, did you leave the ignition on and burn out the ballast resistor?

It was an Ef 6 cyl Fairmont but now has an Ef xr8 engine and trans

Interior fitment, check all your plugs to your ECU maybe you bumped one off. Can you do the quick diag test like an EA where you jump a wire together, and use a tester and count the flashes ?

Same thing happened to my XH ute it was found to be the coil.
