Is there anything that would stop me reversing the two bowls so that the fuel inlets faces towards the passenger side of the engine bay? This would make fuel line plumbing much neater as the factory fuel line runs to the passenger side of the engine bay. I could then mount the holley regulator on the tower and run a fuel line from each outlet port of the regulator to each bowl.

In addition does anybody have photos of how they have mounted their fuel filters and electric pumps?

Think about it - the accelerator pump diaphram wouldn't connect the lever so no it can't be done that way, but the whole carb could theoretically be turned around 180 degrees.

I thought I had pics but can't find them yet. When I did it, it was as easy as it sounds and worked a treat. Now I have a VS it's not worth the effort.

Yep, you'll have to turn the carb around.........or.......do you have dual inlet holes on your fuel bowls? Some don't. I just swapped the plugs and inlet fittlings around.
Works great.

Here's my reg and pump set up. I'll post some more close ups if you'd like.

The only thing you'll need to get around is your accelerator cable - depends on how you have it set up.

The accelerator pumps would still be in the same location and they are both 30cc.

Woops, "some don't", I was referring to my old 800 spreadbore with a side mounted float and only one side inlet.

xbgs351: if you have a carb simliar to that pictured, you have a 2 min job ahead of you.

Piece if cake. Vs all the extra work you'll save by running the fuel lines on the passenger side this is a small detail.

Local hardware store and some stiff steel, bolts and a drill and your're in business.

I bolted this one up and it sends the cable down on more of an angle over the fuel line but it works perfect. The geometry is fine. As you can see, I mounted my fuel reg on the shock tower using a chunk of 90* angle aluminium.
