holley rebuild
i recently bought a 650dp holley from the swap meet for my 351c, and am currently rebuilding and painting it. i have fully dissasembled it and glass bead blasted the outside for painting.
Is there any tricks or tips that people may know to make them perform better than your average holley carb?
atm i am getting the faces totally flat where the metering plates bolt on as years of tightening of the bowl screws have made high spots in the corners.
and what color should i paint it?
red, to match car, or something different?
