Hi guys!

I'm looking at running the KB149 pistons in my next engine (Keith Black/KB Pistons KB149KTD-040 - Keith Black KB Performance Piston and Ring Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com) I'm using open chamber heads around the 67cc mark, so I can't achieve 10:1 comp or above using flat tops - even with zero deck height, it's around 9.4:1 - 9.5:1.
I'm running predominantly LPG so I could really do with running higher comp.
These pistons have a .1 in. dome, but they would occupy 8cc and put my compression up to around 10.5:1.
How much would a .1 in. high, head shape matching dome hurt flame travel?

that small of a dome wouldn't hurt flame travel as much as the bump in compression would help overall. you may see a need to run a few more degrees of total ignition advance for best power but no big deal
