I must buy this Clevo!

Found this one in the Trading post

351 CLEVELAND 11 second motor, manifold 2 sump, brand new black motor, custom ground cam, 690 lift, 590 duration, motor still in shop, excellent condition, ring for details -$6800 ono

And guess who doesn't know wtf they are talking about? Probably still got multigrove valves. I find it's an 11sec engine very amusing. Must be in a 6*4 getting towed by a 10sec car?

Brenden

Re: I must buy this Clevo!

is that too much duration? but it is custom ground, probably has roller bearings on the crank as well, and extend ported heads.!!!!!!

Re: I must buy this Clevo!

Lol, so they managed to redesign the humble camshaft while building the engine? (either that to the bodgy multigroove valves are stuck open!!!).

How would they know its an 11sec engine if its brand new and still in the shop is my other question!

Re: I must buy this Clevo!

Were the words 'Full Sick' and 'built by a full mad Skippy and his Lebanese Adonis mate...' anywhere in that add??? I'd say it seems quite legitimate to to assume that with a cam with...cough...590 duration would pull an 11 sec time in an F350 LWB towtruck!!!

Ahhhh, thank god for spankers, otherwise our life would be so dull! :-)
