i have a landau with a 4v 351 cleveland dose this mean it has 4v heads or is it the manifold

yeah sounds like a silly question but the heads have a big no 2 on the corners so i thought i would ask . Maybe i can check the numbers any idea where to reference them

I think you will find it means 4 Venturi post 73, not 4V heads. From memory I cant remember when the Landau was released, pre or post 73

Its probably like the other 4 barrel carbs that Ford brought out. All the XD's have 4v on the stickers on the firewall, but oviously just designating the 4 barrel(4 venturi) carby. You have 2v heads.

Auslandau has 4v heads on his car, they are factory.

The Landau's were nearly all small port 351's with 4 barrel motorcraft carbies - much like the majority of XB GT Autos. Some 4V motors slipped through but I have owned 6 original Landaus and 3 P5 LTDs and none of them were ever fitted with the big port heads.

My mate done his mech apprenticeship at a ford dealer, and they used to service heaps of them when they were new, he is also a wrecker, and has had heaps of them, and he is yet to see one in all these yrs...
4v refers to the 4 barrel intake and carby...
