Can a double pump holley be modified/changed so it will only run on the front two barrels?
Why am I asking? I am trying to settle an argument.
If i understand your question correctly yes it can. All you have to do is block off the fuel line to the secondaries. I done it this way cause i had a fuel problem and it worked fine

That would have been VERY lean when you put your foot down if the butterflies were still connected.....
So I would take it that all that is required is to remove the little link rod thingy and that will stop the secondary butterflies from opening, and because they dont open the accel pump is not activated...........Correct?

all i did was block the actual fuel line (put a bolt in the line and clamped it) but i didnt tune it or adjust anything so i didnt put my foot into it. It got me round for a while and stopped me from driving the car hard.

that is correct. However ,another solution might be to just swap over a two barrel carb.
