Not suprised, but they are talking $19k in US dollars man! So with our exchange rate and the additional duty we pay here on car goodies, that would be about $28k AUD.

Would expect to get the same or slightly less result without spending half that amount - you could build a bullet proof standard stroke 351 clevo on 300HP nitrous. Up it to 20k and you would get a supecharged clevo demon.

It looks too heavy with too much box and not enough round tubing. It does look like it would get around the track, though.

Which isn't all that out of line, an unstripped Viper/Vette/Porsche with a rollcage will weigh that much. Heck even the CF Porsche and Enzo weight 3200+. The new GT is probably around 3400 with an alum frame, so not that bad but I wanted less.

Its full steel, glass, soundproofing, carpet, etc. Iron block, supercharger, intercooler, 9" rear, etc. THere is weight to be saved, but its stuff like sidepipes, no windows, lexan, or $$$ like alum block etc. :

3400 lb = 1540kg.
