Oil pressure fluctation

Hello all...

I have a question about oil pressure fluctuation, in my 96 Tbird, V6.
The needle usuallly rest on the "m" of the word 'NORM" on the gauge. However, everyonce in a while, it will drop down to the "n". This seems to be independent of, temperature or RPM of the engine.

Is this something that I should be concerned about?

.....Bill

It is if the gauge is in good working order.

Re: oil pressure

If you want a true reading, put in a real guage even if it's temporary just for checking things out. Unless it's a high end electric guage with a good sender, you can't trust them.
